On Saturday, June 2nd from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm we will host an exhibition pipe competition in the lower field, bringing together bagpipe virtuosos in our region. Pipers will compete in both Irish and Interceltic music on the Great Highland Bagpipe and will be judged by local piping star, Robert Mitchell. The contest will be announced like a sports event with details about the players and the tunes. See more here

The official hotel of the festival is the DoubleTree Hotel in Annapolis. Festival goers receive a special rate. Click here.
AIF welcomes members of any Irish or Scottish Clans/Societies to set up a “Clan Tent” at the festival. The tents will surround the exhibition area for the pipe competition on Saturday, June 2nd. There is no fee for any Clan/Society to set up a tent. For information about registration, click here.

“There once was a lad from Annapolis…”
Contestants must submit an original limerick online in any style or format up to 75 words or less on or before May 25th. Our esteemed judges will select the winner who will receive 2 VIP tickets for Saturday AND the most distinguished man in a kilt, Seamus Kennedy, will read the winning limerick aloud with the winner on stage. You must be 21 or over to participate. No profanity allowed. Submit entries via AIF Facebook Messenger.

Come visit our new indoor bar! Cool off with a grapefruit or orange crush cocktail in a shaded Irish pub setting. The pub is at the heart of the festival, directly across the hill and main stage music so you won’t miss a beat.
